Hello Michiko and Melitis,
The task is done... I'm back home in Squamish.
Chris and I buried the Peace Vase on the Shelf of Combatant on August 10th in a most beautiful high place at 3250 metres. There are the most incredible views in all directions -- an inspiring place from which it can send its blessings. Was a great day for both of us. It is now deep in the boulders exactly where we had discussed.

We also built a large cairn in the area and hung prayer flags off it in
two directions, tied up with heavy climbers tape to survive storms for the longest period. They can be seen from far away and many directions, fluttering in the breeze and shining in the sun. One of the photos here shows them glowing at sunrise from one and a half a kilometres away, another is of Chris with Waddington beyond.

We did two other climbs, including Mount Waddinton itself. I took a
stone from the hole we dug for the vase and placed it there in the
snow.
