A Peace vase was placed in the foundations of the Chaq Chaq dam in Suleimania, Iraq on 8th November 2002 by;

Mattias reports, " I am pleased to send you some scanned pictures on the peace vase we had buried in the foundations of Chaq Chaq Dam in Suleimania on the 8 November 2002. I would here acknowledge all of you to have allow this happen, specially Engineer Nawzad, who has the merit to have realized his childhood dream in erecting a Dam in Chaq Chaq with local capacity, to supply water to the Kurdish people in Suleimania"

Mattias Ernst reports on the mountain climbers who placed a vase at Halgurd mountain in northern Iraq;

"Find here a first set of pictures and a map on the location of the peace's vase that have been placed on the peak of the highest mountain in Kurdistan region, Northern Iraq. A team of climbers who enjoy the natural freedom of earth, climb the Mt Halgurd Mountain (near Choman on the map in annex) on the 25 October 2002, one of the most remote area of the world due to political reasons. They have dedicate their journey to the holy message contained in the peace vase. They feel honored to have done it and have express high interest on the project."
