COMMITTEE CHANGES

There have been some changes to the committee of Siddhartha's Intent Southern Door in Sydney. Our new vice-president is Linda Adelstein, who takes over from Maree Tenzin. Sue Robinson takes over from Pamela Croci as our new secretary and the treasurer is now Jill Robinson, replacing Hugo Croci. We'd like to thank Maree, Hugo and Pam for their unstinting hard work for Siddhartha's Intent and Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche over many, many years!

And at Vajradhara Gonpa Jangchub Haubner has taken over from Kathie Chodron as director. Kathie is entering a long retreat and we'd like to thank her for all the hard work and devotion that she's invested in establishing the gonpa as a magnificent teaching and retreat centre. We'd also like to send her our very best wishes for her retreat over the coming years. The other members of the committee are Val Kennedy (secretary), Alex McLoughlin (public officer), Sonia Davis (treasurer), Maggy Agrey (office management), Margaret Khyentse (chairperson), Ross Smith, Jerry Epps, Simon Thomas, Eva Thomas, Gael Wallace, Toni Rogers and Sergio Jacomy. Our thanks also go to Toni for having done such a good job as treasurer during such a financially difficult time!

KHENPO MIGMAR WILL BE MISSED

The Gentle Voice has just learnt that Khenpo Migmar has died. A great Sakya lama, Khenpo Migmar was loved and respected by all those who met him during his recent visit to Australia. His friendly nature and his skill and interest in translating texts into English will be sorely missed.
