New Year's Message from Rinpoche
Published on 31 December 2020
For all those connected with Siddhartha’s Intent,
Today is the last day of a turbulent and challenging year. I hope and pray that, as midnight signals the end of 2020, its dark forces will vanish, and the lessons it has taught us will help make 2021 a year of happiness, prosperity, stability and sanity. Most important of all, I pray that in the coming year, everyone will feel even more enthusiasm for becoming awakened.
We can all rejoice as we look back at what the different branches of Siddhartha’s Intent worldwide have achieved by making it possible for so many people to hear, contemplate and, at times, practise the most exalted of all paths, the Buddha’s Dharma. As the new year begins, let us remember that Siddhartha’s Intent only purpose is to serve Shakyamuni Buddha by propagating and preserving his teachings.
I would like to thank everyone who has given so much of their time, energy and resources to Siddhartha’s Intent’s many, never-ending activities — some of you, I know, have given everything.
