Siddhartha's Intent

Tara is the Swift Savioress whose vow of compassion is to respond immediately to the invocation and prayers of those in need. Meditating on her as the embodiment of all enlightened qualities, enables us to transform ordinary emotions and concepts into pure intention and accomplish the skillful means to benefit others.

Chagdud Khadro will bestow the Red Tara empowerment from the Apang Terton cycle. She will also teach the concise Red Tara, with its powerful Jetzun Prayer to remove obstacles and fulfill aspirations, and she will give an overview of the extensive Mandala Ritual of Red Tara. Both the concise and the extensive practices deepen our understanding of the development and completion stages of Vajrayana Buddhism.
